Our vision screening service helps identify vision problems in early stages. We organize free screenings in local schools and community events, ensuring everyone has access to necessary eye care resources. Feeding the Hungry
Lions District 22W actively supports individuals and families facing hardships. Through food drives, financial aid, and access to essential resources, we aim to alleviate struggles and promote stability within our communities. Our dedicated volunteers work diligently to ensure that help reaches those who need it most, fostering hope and resilience.
Environmental Conservation
Our clubs are committed to safeguarding our planet through hands-on conservation projects. From organizing community tree-planting days that replenish local woodlands to coordinating neighborhood clean-ups and recycling drives, our members work side by side to restore habitats, improve air quality, and foster lasting environmental stewardship. Lions for Literacy
The Lions Reading Program helps children build strong reading skills early—an essential step in breaking the cycle of illiteracy. Today, over 43 million U.S. adults struggle with reading, and more than 50% read below a 6th-grade level. By offering free literacy support, we give kids the tools they need to succeed in school and life, helping raise national literacy rates and strengthen our communities for the future.
Medical Equipment
Many clubs in District 22W offer medical equipment for loan to those with in their community who have a temporary or not so temporary need.
